For everyone who is bored with endless articles about Kate Moss’s 25 years as a model (I mean it IS pretty impressive, and we might even break our ‘no celeb models’ rule for this week’s retro style icon post, but still…), there’s other 25-year fashion anniversaries to talk about. Brit brand Fat Face will celebrate its 25th birthday this summer by giving fans the chance to win ‘Jim’, a bespoke Fat Face VW campervan.
Jim, the name of the campervan, is an amalgamation of the names of the founders Jules Leaver and Tim Slade. Twenty five years ago, on a quest to avoid the daily grind and fund a lifestyle based on the slopes and in the surf, the founders sold their own VW campervan and began selling printed t-shirts.
The #WinJim competition has just launched on Fat Face’s website and Facebook page.
To top it all off and in case you don’t know what to wear in the vintage campervan you’ve just won, there will be a heritage heavy Fat Face summer range influenced by original styles and designs.
