This season, Volcom have put a lot of development into using fabrics from sustainable resources expanding upon their V.Co-logical category. Styles throughout the line made out of Bamboo, Hemp and Recycled Polyester, with 2008/09 also marking Volcom’s third season partnered with Gore-Tex, which “guarantees to keep you dry”!
Colours are a combination of soft and bright colours, all with a very feminine, edgy feel. Geometric prints are the trend this season, as well Volcom custom stripes and their featured artist prints. You won’t be able to miss the Jamie Lynn Boarding 4 Breast Cancer piece, or snowboard legend Brian Iguchi’s signature print with shattered hearts, lightning bolts and wooly mammoths! For an alternative to a printed piece, check out the new and fresh crazy multicolour blocked pieces, combined with stone dots and stripes!
Fits are either slim or baggy silhouettes, with an even slimmer fit for this season that is close at the knee, then flares out to hug your boot. The entire line features streetwear styling and trim details throughout, making you super stylish, all while being super functionable on the mountain.
