I have just started up boarding again after a well needed summer’s break. Since being back on the snow I realised how much I love the sport. It was also great to see my boarding friends again. I found out that my friend, Alice Blake has been selected for the British Junior Team which is fab news and I will be expecting big stuff from her in the future. I am thrilled that the Hemel Snow Centre has been completed as it is just around the corner so this means I won’t be spending hours and hours in a car anymore just to get my snow fix. The Freestyle Nights on Friday evening are rad and Hemel build a big kicker (well, big for indoors). The snow is awesome at Hemel as it is ‘new’ snow which is partly due to the slope just opening and partly due to the snow being constantly refreshed and the dirty snow being removed. This process makes the snow much quicker and lighter than the snow at some of the other venues.
I will be riding in the UK this winter as I will be unable to do another season due to managing my business. Since I got back from boarding in Sweden I have been working non stop towards the launch of my business: undercover-glamour.com. The business plan started developing while on my season in Morzine; I found that the chair lift was the best place to come up with the ideas. I am not quite sure how it led to selling breast enhancers however! My company, Undercover Glamour sells confidence boosting products to help women achieve the celebrity look with breast enhancers, clip-in hair extensions, fake eyelashes, nipple covers and adhesive bras. So my products are not really needed for a day on the slopes but if you feel the need to jazz up the look for the après ski then by all means check out my products.
