Long distance relationships are tough. Ask anyone who's ever tried to keep a relationship alive while hundreds of miles away from their significant other and they'll tell you that it's a whole lot of communication and a whole lot of effort.

While dating long distance is hard enough when you both have a permanent address, it's even tougher if you're both on the road, as this couple has found out.

Becca and Dan are two photographers that have found themselves exploring the world in two completely different ways, while Becca is based in Brooklyn, Dan is part of the Remote Year program, meaning he is based in a different city around the world every month.

To keep their relationship close and share their travels with each other, the pair have started a totally unique photography project called HalfHalfTravel.

Through editing their photos together, the couple can share their experiences through shots that show both sides of the world — one half from Dan’s and the other from Becca’s.

"Together in Guatapé, Colombia & Lisbon, Portugal "

The couple have created moments all over the world, from Portugal and South Africa, to London and Morocco, there's no two places too far apart to become a joint photographic memory.

While this couple can't actually travel the world together right now, they're one hundred per cent travelling together in spirit.

This project is totally inspired and we can't wait to see the amazing photography projects they'll come up with when they're finally reunited.
