Anyone who has seen Kaya Turski‘s part in Level 1’s Eye Trip will know that she set the bar for women’s freeskiing over the past few years. She’s won more contests than we can write down and she was the first woman to land a switch 1080 in a competition.
Unfortunately, her Level 1 part isn’t available for public consumption, you’ll have to buy the movie, but it’s one of the few female street parts in skiing. This will give you an idea of just how solid she is in the park, though. And there are a few cheeky shots of her on the streets on her website, too.
The Canadian is one of the hardest working women in skiing, recovering from knee surgery in record time to compete in the Olympics, but she missed out on the finals after having to pop her shoulder back into place after stacking a run!
We’re stoked to see what she comes up with this year, keep up the good work, Kaya!
