Annie was one of the first women to break into the backcountry scene. She spent her the early noughties involved with the Canadian team and doing numerous competitions, but always with the view to do more filming and have apart in a movie.
It wasn’t until 2007 that she got her first part in the Absinthe film, Optmistic? and she hasn’t looked back since.
In a recent Whitelines interview, Annie talks of having to fight hard to get herself recognised as a female backcountry rider in a male dominated industry. But her first full part, above, shows that she’s well and truly made the leap.
