The theme of this year’s 10th birthday festival is For Richer, For Poorer, For Better, For Worse.
This theme is less to do with wedding vows however and more to do with our everyday life.
“Whether it’s clicking ‘yes’ to Google’s terms of service, saying ‘I do’ in a marriage ceremony, or putting an X in a political party’s box at the general election, the agreements we make affect the lives of everyone around us” explains the fests arts programmer.
We love the idea of a wider theme for the whole festival to explore, with Forest Fringe, Theatre Uncut, The Roundhouse and Clean Break all giving their take on the theme over the weekend.
