Badrallach, Scotland
Badrallach, Scotland
If you’re looking to pitch your tent in the middle of nowhere, miles from any light pollution, then Badrallach in the Scottish Highlands is the place to go.
Wanderlust Magazine describe it as: “Quite literally at the end of the track, eight miles from the nearest main road, in a lost corner of north-west Scotland.”
But that’s not to say there’s nothing to do here. It’s an amazing spot for hiking, climbing and kayaking. Head down to Corrieshalloch Gorge if fishing with a nice view is your thing.
Why is it so amazing?
If you are looking for total solitude in the wilderness but don’t want to say goodbye to a real toilet, this is the best place you can go.
