So many of us have wild ambitions of huge adventures and crazy expeditions, but so very few of us actually go as far as doing them.
We spend as much of our free time outdoors as possible, whether it be a surf safari or climbing a mountain or cycling from one side of the country to the other, but these adventures are kept in our weekends and holidays.
We love the women out there who have made adventuring their day job.
There are so many adventurous women out there who inspire us, it was hard to make a list so short!
Here Are eight badass women who show the rest of us just how rad we can be....
The youngest person to ever row solo across the Indian ocean, Sarah is a Cooler favourite.

That means that for the majority of the trip she will biking, rowing and Kayaking.
Find out more about Sarah and her adventures here.
One of the world's greatest female climbers, we really think that Steph Davis is the bomb.
Steph's achievements are insane, she is....
- The only woman to have free solo climbed a 5.11 climb
- the first woman to summit all the peaks of the Fitzroy Range in Patagonia
- The second woman to free climb El Capitan in a day

Jenn Shelton is one of the world's best female ultramarathon runners.
Shelton attended the University of North Carolina where she played on the rugby team, before dropping out to focus on writing poetry.
Over the years she's defeated some of the toughest and longest runs in the world.
We love her mix of creative and sporty and have heard she's one of the nicest people around.
We want to both go for a run and a night out with her!
Roberta Mancino divides opinion through her stunts like base jumping in high heels and mixing action sports with glamour modelling.
Whatever you're opinion of her mix of glamour and action, one thing you can argue with is that she is pretty badass.
She's done over 7,000 skydives (four of them naked) and recently jumped out of a plane in the middle of the night over Panama City.
We love this woman's nerve! One of her dreams is to BASE jump off the Burj Khalifa, the tallest man-made structure in the world, and circle around it as she goes down.
She also aspires to jump out of a plane and reenter the same plane as it dives.
We bet that she's done both in no time at all!
Exploratory surfer Liz Clark has the life we'd quite like to live ourselves.
In search of the world's best secret breaks, Liz sails solo with her cat Amelia.
To date, she has sailed down the coasts of Mexico and Central America, explored the western islands of Panama and the Galápagos, made several loops around the islands of French Polynesia, and spent time exploring the eastern islands of Kiribati.
Liz focuses on the joy of exploration, rather than on trying to sail routes at any particular speed.
Next she hopes to circumnavigate the Earth, at her own pace with lots of stops along the way to surf!
Caroline Gleich's main bag is Skiing and man, is she good at it, but she also has many other talents under her belt.
From stand up paddle boarding to trad climbing, to running, to white water rafting, it seems Caroline is always on an adventure.
Already a professional big mountain and powder skier and named as one to watch in the SUP world, we're taking bets right now that in a few years, this will be a big name in action sports.
A UK adventure name that almost everyone will recognise, Ellen McArthur jumped into the limelight in 2007 when she completed the quickest solo circumnavigation if the globe, at only 24 years old.
Possibly the most famous yachtswoman of all time and now the holder of an MBE, Ellen now divides her time between racing and working with her own charity.
A dame, a holder of a world record and a character on TV show Dead Ringers all before the age of 30!
We wonder what Ellen will do next....
