The second stop of our Girls Shred Sessions with QParks went down in the Vans Penken Park last week and despite a massive snowstorm roaring in the Zillertal valley, the girls had an amazing session together!

Because as we all know, you don’t need much more than a bit of snow, good vibes and some friends to have a perfect day in the mountains and since as females we have a special character trait to adapt to circumstances, it was quite an epic one too with some well known faces such as Lisa Zimmermann and Philo Bair in addition to the crowd of stoked girl riders.

It all started quite harmless though, with sunshine backing the shooting on the medium kicker line in the morning when suddenly a wall of fog and snowfall came up. But despite what most would have thought, pulling out and seeking the shelter of a hot coco in the warmth of one of the mountain huts was no option for the motivated skiers and snowboarders how kept right on charging the park, hitting the rails and learning new tricks until the end of the lift day forced them back down.
