Nowadays, you can a ticket to fly overseas and back for the same price as a Friday night out on the town.

If you don’t have a definite destination in mind, its easy to track down a super cheap last minute flight out after work on a Friday.

However, this only really  works if you’re in travelling distance of an airport.

If you have a four hour to even get to the runway, you’re suddenly spending eight hours and a lot of dollar on your weekend escape and its looking a lot less appealing.

Working in a city with a decent  airport= easy weekends away.
