How have you been getting on?

My best placing is 22nd out of I dunno not a big field! In my last race it was going really well, I had the right wax guy and the right boards and had done two events before so I was getting used to the subtle differences and I qualified in 15th place. Everyone was like, “Whoa that’s really good if you’re qualifying top 16 you’re really racing.” Then I got taken out in the first 100m and that was that haha.

That’s my problem with boardercross, you do all that training then you can just get taken out?

Yeah and that’s why I need more experience in boarder cross too. You’ve really got to know your competitors and be smart.

And get out front?

That’s the aim of the game, get out front, stay out front and you’re golden.
