Running High

Don’t leave your running shoes at home when you head for the ski slopes – jogging at altitude will give you a powerful fitness boost.

Squeeze in a run before your ski day and you’ll pump your lungs harder than normal because of the lower oxygen levels at altitude. You’ll also be less likely to injure yourself on the hill later, as it’s the perfect way to warm up the entire body. Just don’t push it too hard or you’ll be heading down by lunch time.
