If you love surfing, snowboarding, climbing and all the other Type-A, high energy sports, then get yourself straight into an ashtanga yoga class.
This type of yoga is usually the most active, with lots of repetition and high intensity movement.
Unlike most exercise classes, high intensity doesn’t mean loud. Some ashtanga classes don’t even have music, just the instructor calling out poses, often in Sanskrit.
Before going to an ashtanga class, make sure you do a little research and find out whether you should learn the routine first or if you can learn it during the class.
