What’s the deal with GNU encouraging us to Get Weird?

Snowboarding has always been weird. It is what makes our sport so fun and unique! It’s all about self expression and creativity. It’s not predictable and normal… it’s weird, it’s wild, and it’s magic.

And what’s GNU got coming up?

We are always working with our athletes to develop new technologies and perfect our existing tech. We have had an incredibly exciting season, and the recent gold medal victories are rewarding for all of us. The Ladies Choice is Jamie Anderson’s board of choice and the B-pro is our longest running women’s model. Kaitlyn Farrington won her gold in the pipe on this board, proving it’s as much a freestyle board as it is an all mountain free riding board. We are proud of our position as the world’s most environmental snowboard factory and we are constantly incorporating eco friendly materials into our board building. Bio beans, fast growing eco woods, non toxic resins and water based inks are incorporated into all of our board lines. We’ve got some fun new shapes in the mens and women’s lines for this coming season, a directional C3 board in Gnu girls called the Beauty is my new favorite board. I’m having more fun on the snow than I’ve had in years! Look for Jamie A. to make magic with her Ladies Choice collection and Kaitlyn to keep frolicking with the unicorns on her B-pro!
