It’s a week and a day since I got back from Bestival. I have just about recovered. The lovely Michelle at Roxy gave me two tickets, a pre-pitched tent and a pre blown-up airbed. Now that’s my kinda camping! On arrival I bumped into some old school friends and we spent Friday night revisiting the glory days: Fabio and Grooverider, DJ Friction.
Other highlights were Micachu and the Shapes, Major Lazer and Kraftwerk. Annoyingly I missed Bat For Lashes, think I was too far into the DnB at that point. Also missed 2ManyDJs, gutted. And apparently Micachu’s DJ set was epic, full of garage. Can’t be everywhere at once now can you?
Fancy dress theme was Outer Space. AA got hit up for silver leggings. I’m still finding glitter all over everything.
