Check out the coolest charity we’ve encountered in a while: surfing in school dresses to help girls in Africa wear one too!
Australian writer and surfer Hayley Shaw-Mcguinness and a bunch of her friends will be be surfing Manly in school dresses on October 21st at 10am, to show their support and raise money to send the girls of Sierra Leone in Africa to school. These girls are more likely to be sexually assaulted than get to High School and so they’ve set up a donation on doitinadress.com and ask you to be generous – $240 provides education for one girl.
