Draw Art Exhibition Hits London

Vans and StolenSpace present Draw

Draw is a must-see exhibition featuring original drawings by 300 artists in the tattoo, literature, design, illustration, animation, skateboard, music, urban and contemporary art worlds. The show is a tribute to the often-underrated but fundamental building-block of visual and graphic art: the drawing.

Artists whose works are in the show include: Moby, Barry McGee, HR Giger, Clive Barker, Gibby Haynes, Ron English, Kat Von D, Tim Biskup, Ben Cho, Mark Gonzales, Derek Hess, Rich Jacobs, KAWS, Neck Face, Rick Griffin, Hank Williams III, Kerry King, WK Interact, Aurel Schmidt, Louis Molloy and Phil Kyle of London Ink, Doze Green, Chris Johanson and Dalek. 25 artists from the UK are debuting works. Their pieces will continue as part of the Draw exhibit as it continues from London on a six-country world tour that includes showings in Tokyo, Berlin, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Draw is the largest contemporary drawing exhibition to emerge out of New York City. The exhibit debuted in October of 2006 at Fuse Gallery to phenomenal response before moving on to the SXSW 2007 Music and Interactive-Film Festival in Austin,Texas, for equally impressive showing.

Draw is now making its much anticipated trip across the Atlantic. The 300-piece collection will open in London at StolenSpace gallery from 6th to 23rd March 2008.

Draw is curated by Erik Foss and Curse Mackey with guest curators by Jamie O’Shea, Tim Barber, Jacaeber Kastor, Damian Weinkrantz,Les Barany, Brendan Fowler, Mike Aho, Sto, Victoria Perez and D* Face.
