Last weekend 14-15 July I competed at Eastbourne Extreme – a weekend festival including everything from BMX to Thundercat to of course, windsurfing!! The UKWA held their annual freewave event here and I am pleased to say that I came 1st place Ladies. The weather was perfect with a moderate force 4 wind and sunshine. The comp was run on the saturday with freestyle being the format and I was pleased to claim many moves I have been practising over the last months. Unfortunately sunday was just hot and without a thermal wind to enable us to get on the water, we held the prize-giving in the afternoon. A great weekend in all!
