Savognin, a small resort with a large ski area: in winter, the 80 kilometres of wide pistes are a paradise for skiers and carvers, but they also lure many snowboarders.

Lenzerheide from £645 per adult
Popular in winter due to its frozen Lake Heid, Lenzerheide lies at the foot of the Parpaner Rothorn Mountain, and offers access to 155km of skiing area.
