When we met her the first time as she took the win of the 4star Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam as if she was making a cup of tea, we already suspected something big to come along. After she conquered the Roxy Chicken Jam, the Burton European Open and the US Open, it was more than clear that Enni Rukajärvi was more than a favourite for this season’s TTR World Title. And so with no big surprise she secured her crown at the US Chicken Jam in Mammoth last weekend.
Sina Candrian was able to post a sixth place finish in the slopestyle finals to defend her World No. 2 position and Sarka Pancochova squeezed in a fifth place in slopestyle to finish her season in World No. 3.

And the event it self was of course world class as well. The day began with slopestyle finals in the morning under the blazing California sunshine making the course a little bit slow, but the ladies powered through the slush and put on a great showing. It was American rider, Jamie Anderson, who had the speed and style on the course and was able to throw down a run that included a backside 540, switch backside 540 and a Cab 540 mute to take the top spot of the day. Enni Rukajärvi only came in ninth place, but that was enough to keep her TTR lead. However, there was still the halfpipe finals ahead where some riders still had a chance to shake up the TTR ranking.
