Artec Teams Up With Sony for 4th Design Contest

Win a personally designed snowboard and a Sony PSP-Set

Artec Snowboards is proud to announce the launch of the Artec Snowboards Design Contest 2008. After teaming up with the generous folks at Sony Playstation, the stakes are higher than ever for the 4th edition of this innovative competition.

Here’s the deal: they’re looking for artistic souls to take on a creative challenge and design a snowboard topsheet graphic that ties in with Artec’s progressive design philosophy and technology. They’re looking for something truly inspired and original, so be creative and unleash your imagination.

The winner of the Artec Snowboards Design Contest 2008, selected by a jury of Artec team riders and designers, will receive a money-can’t-buy Artec snowboard featuring the winning topsheet graphic design.

Plus, the top dog will also walk away with a Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) set, including the PSP Slim & Lite – the latest video game console – and the futuristic racing game, WipEout Pulse. The winner will also experience the creativity of film and photo via a tidy PSP accessory called the Sony Go!Cam. That’s a whole PSP mobile entertainment system right there, people.

2nd and 3rd place finishers will also be in line to receive some top prizes, with each of the runners-up receiving an Artec Team Snowboard and Sony PSP giveaways. And check this: the top three designs will be exhibited in the Art Gallery at the Artec Snowboards booth at Ispo Winter 08.

Head over to the Artec Snowboards website to download a design template and get all information about entry submission requirements. The deadline for all graphic submissions is midnight on January 7th, 2008. Now go create something.
