If you fancy four days of surfing in the sunshine, then you’re in luck. The Billabong Girls Cascais Festival 2008 will be taking place in Portugal’s best beach breaks from 31st July until 3rd August.

The world’s best female surfers will return to tackle the waves of Cascais in one of the biggest events in the European surfing calendar. The 6-Star tournament attracts the globe’s best surfers who will be vying for the coveted rating points and chunk of the $35,000 prize pot.

In addition to high-calibre surfing action, the Billabong Girls Cascais Festival gives you the chance to fine-tune your surf skills with free surfing lessons, plus hip-hop dancing, pilates sessions, free concerts and a fashion show presenting the latest Billabong Girls Collection. Plus, you could make history as during the festival there is a planned attempt to beat the Guiness World Record for the highest number surfers in one wave!
