On the weekend of the 7th and 8th of July 2007, Billabong will be hosting a special weekend dedicated to the ladies that love the surf lifestyle.

Taking place on Woolacombe beach in Devon, boasting two miles of golden sandy beaches, it is an ideal place for a weekend of girls only fun.

This entirely FREE event is open to girls aged 12 to 25. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned pro or have never even paddled out into the water. Jetting into the UK especially for this event are Billabong Pro riders Ashley Cheadle and Alana Brennan to put you through your paces and help you learn to ride the waves.

The surfing lifestyle will be further promoted through environmental workshops, yoga and hip hop lessons. On a musical note there will be the white party and live music from DJ and Pro Rider Ashleigh Mannix. Add all this together with BBQ’s and a fashion show featuring the latest wears from the Billabong Summer Collection, and it equals a weekend not to be missed!

Billabong is also hosting two-day free surf events for girls aged of 10-25 at Hossegor, France (30 June – 1 July), Miengo, Spain (3-4 July) and Guincho, Portugal (16-19 August). The first 150 girls to register online can take advantage of the fantastic activities on offer.

Lucky winners will take part in two surf sessions a day in small groups, with other girls of the same level, a qualified surf instructor will coach you during the two days and will give you all the facts & tips to progress and most of all to have a blast on your board safely.

Billabong will provide wetsuits, boards, lycras. Billabong gives all the surfing equipement for you to get going. Just bring your bikini, sun cream, sweat shirt, cap, towel, you’ll be ready for it.
