Eastpak Gallery in London has another artsy gem in store for you this Friday, 6th of May 2011: Charlie Bowden‘s first solo exhibition entitled “Twenty-Six”. Influenced and inspired by the everyday, Bowden taught himself to draw diagrams as a means to explaining and expressing his ideas. Without denying graffiti’s influence on his style, the show is actually a response to graffiti and Bowden’s changing attitude to it.
“I’ve been working with Eastpak for 3-4 years now, so it seemed like a natural progression for this to be my first solo show.” CB. “Twenty-Six” is a site-specific installation of 3D Letters that have been stripped of their identity. All pieces that will be on show at the Eastpak Gallery from Friday 6th May 2011 are unique, one-off pieces.
