Chatham Kicks off British Snow Tour

The new British Snow Tour will start up its freestyle bus and get ready to make its first stop of the tour at Chatham on the 15th & 16th September. It is here that the highly anticipated Animal British Slopestyle Championships will take place.

The tour will stop of two Chatham Schools on the 13th & 14th September in the hope of inspiring newcomers to snow sports. Hoping to get 1,000 new fans, the tour will give away 200 free lessons as well as giving free freestyle ski and snowboard coaching and product testing. The British Snow Tour will showcase some of the most progressive freestyle riding the UK has to offer.

The Animal British Slopestyle Championships will include some of the UK’s most progressive rail and kicker combo’s as over 100 of the UK’s best riders including snowboarders such as, Sam Cullum, Jamie Nicholls and 2007 Animal Freeski Slopestyle Champion Paddy Graham. They’ll show their skills on Chatham’s selection of freestyle toys, including: a 42ft rollercoaster rail, wall ride, a variety of kickers and a huge 60ft battleship box. A relaxed big air jam will wake everyone up and kick start each day’s competition, as will Tony B’s tunes and James Thorne’s mic action.

Registration is live and competition is open to all abilities. There’s no excuse not to sign up!
