Villa Villa Cola Productions is proud to announce the San Francisco premiere of Dear & Yonder, a surf film about daring ladies united by the sea on August 7th 7-10pm and Saturday August 8th 5-10pm
In celebration of the release August 7th art show at Mollusk Surf Shop will feature many artists who have been supportive of our endeavor and reflect the talent and spirit of the women showcased in the film. The dynamic group of artists include Moses Berkson, Thomas Campbell, Tiffany Campbell, Jeff Canham, Andy and Ashley Davis, Amy Jo Diaz, Chris Duncan, Kyle Field, Laura Flippen, Chris Gentile, Evan Hecox, Rich Jacobs, Rachel Kaye, Alex Kopps, John McCambridge, Geoff McFetridge, Augustus Thompson, Paul Urich, Serena Mitnik-Miller, Ray Potes, Nathaniel Russell, Stefan Simikich, Derek Snodgrass, Johanna St. Clair, Mason St. Peter, Ed Templeton, Spencer Tunik and more.
A female duo from San Francisco band Black Bow will perform an acoustic set during the event. The August 7th show is perfect warm up for the events the following afternoon and evening.
The Potrero del Sol event begins at 5pm with a line up of local music- the new dark psychedelic act Black Bow, performances by bands formed at the Bay Area Girls Rock Cam pand San Francisco darlings Thee Oh Sees. Simultaneously there will be girls from the skateboarding segment of the film shredding the adjacent concrete park- skate with Amy Caron, Vanessa Torres, Leticia Bufoni. The 60 minute film screens at sundown, 8:30 on a 20×15 screen.
Both the art show and premiere in the park are free to all- come celebrate Dear & Yonder, art, music and surfing!
