The etnies team girls pulled out all the stops at the Etnies European Skateboarding Championships in Rome this weekend.
Ianire Elorriaga, who recently won the European Skateboard Championship in Girls’ Street, took first place in Rome as she amazed the judges with her smooth flow through the course. Elorriaga successfully hit a vast amount of tricks within her two 45-second runs, including a kickflip over the main hip and a frontside tailslide on the big quarter. Bouilliart’s backside boardslide on the big rail and smooth backside 180 over the hip helped earn her second place, while “The Viking,” Kristina Westad, showed her technical skills with a nice backside heelflip over the big hip and boardslide on the small rail to nail third.
This marks the second etnies Girl triple sweep of the year, as the girls also reigned supreme in Girls’ Street at the etnies Open in Munich, Germany, in May with Bouillart in first, Westad in second and Elorriaga in third.
Great job, ladies!
