Fresh Jive events are all about bringing back the golden age and elements of hip hop, when it was all about meeting people, breaks, music, new moves, having a crew, positivity and being an individual loved for your skills and not your background – everyone coming together to PARTY…

This Sunday their latest event is taking place at Stylus, Leeds University, with the Mighty 4 UK titles. Events include 3 on 3s and B-Girl Battles with the world champion Rockforce Crew from Los Angeles overseeing events.

DJ Renegade, DJ Junk (2nd to None), DJ Timber (BTC), Rob Life (Breakin Bread), Just One (FDC) and T-Breaks (Fresh Jive) will be spinning the tunes, with Bboy 10 tonn hosting events. Judges: Machine (Rockforce Crew), UK Judges (tbc): Plus showcase from Machine.

The contests take place from 4-10pm with over 14s welcome.

For the super-keen, a top rock battle party will be taking place on Saturday 10th November as a warm-up. Over 18s should head to The Elbow Room in Leeds from 9-11pm, followed by Sugarbeat club til 3am with Beardyman (UK beatbox champ) and A.Skillz.

If you buy tickets in advance, it costs just £5 to get into both Elbow Room on the Saturday (before 10pm) and into the main event on the Sunday @ Stylus, Leeds University. Otherwise, it’s £6 on door each night. Buy your tickets.

Machine will also be conducting workshops for £7.50 on the Sunday – time tbc (most likely before the jam at 3pm)
