Billabong rider Jenny Jones (UK) won the Slopestyle event at the 2007 Burton New Zealand Open last week end in Wanaka.
Due to bad weather, the finals were cancelled and official results were based on the semi-final runs, which turned to Jenny’s advantage.
This is Jenny’s first win in a 5-star TTR event (Ticket To Ride, the official pro snowboarding tour), ahead of Firi (AUT), Hana Beaman (USA) and Torah Bright (AUS).
She’s also won a courtesy plane ticket to go and compete in the Australian Burton Open on August 21st.
Until then, she’ll meet the whole Billabong Snowboard Team in New Zealand for the annual range photoshoot.
