Kaya Turski wins Winter X Games Slopestyle

Despite the tremendous loss of one of their icons and trailblazers Sarah Burke only one week ago, who was honored with stickers and a very moving candle light procession through the pipe, the freeski scene gathered in Aspen this week for the Winter X Games and battled the slopestyle finals out last night. And it was a trail blazing contest too, as Kaya Turski not only scored her third consecutive gold medal, she also landed the first switch 1080 by a woman in the Winter X Games history! But competition was tough with second placed Devin Logan only a little more than 2 points behind her and another 2 points Bronze medal winner Anna Segal.
