The party is a pre-cursor to the main girls only surfing and skateboarding event which will take place on 3th September in Anglet, SW France. Dedicated to those wishing to learn surfing or skateboarding, taught by pro surfers during a day, the ride n’ ride crew will be happy to welcome you on the famous land of surfing: the Basque country!
Supported by worldwide foundations like Surfrider Foundation and Keep a Breast foundation, this event will be a celebration of extreme girls.
In order to launch this amazing European event, the Ride n’ Rose crew is happy to launch her very first 2011 party in “Le Vent d’Ouest” in Anglet.
Elisa Routa, French Journalist & Photographer from the Basque country, will display some of her works: drawings & pictures printed on an old brown paper from the 70s.Through her exhibition entitled “Girls make epic shit”, she will give her view of today’s women skateboarding style.
Thanks to a different approach, mixing words and visual aspects, drawings and sewing, Elisa tries to catch the authenticity of girls she has the chance to meet.
Another great French artist Greg Moyano will present some his works. Illustrator and graphic designer for Roxy, Greg is inspired everyday by the surf culture.
Later in the night, the sweet French voice of Flo De Lavega and the sound of his accoustic guitar will will seduce you before an unforgettable party in front of the ocean.
