With a second lay day after the first round, the 2011 Roxy Pro Gold Coast in Snapper Rocks, Australia has a real slow start this year. Onshore winds and non-existent swell prevented recommencing the contest after the opening round that went down on Saturday.

Event organizers will reconvene tomorrow morning at 6:30am to assess conditions for a possible 7:30am start.

When competition resumes, up first will be Rebecca Woods (AUS), 26, battling Courtney Conlogue (AUS), 18, in the opening women’s heat of Round 2.
