On 29th November 2008, the Santa Cruz Rookie Rider Clash will be heading to Tamworth SnowDome.

Santa Cruz Snowboards are celebrating their 20th Birthday by offering up the prize of a lifetime. So wax your stick and get ready to showcase your skills at this season’s Santa Cruz Rookie Rider Clash, where new UK talent will have the chance to shine.

Slopestyle gurus at Tamworth Snowdome are creating a combination of rails, kickers and a wall to show off your talent. And there’s a serious incentive to brush up your slope-riding skills, as a complete board set-up plus tickets to compete in the Brits snowboarding contest are up for grabs!

One up-and-coming UK guy and girl will each win the following…
A brand new Santa Cruz snowboard and bindings and Santa Cruz outerwear from their new collection.
Tickets to compete at this seasons Brits 2009, in Laax, Switzerland.
A subscription to Whitelines and Cooler Magazine respectively.
A pair of Vans snowboard boots each.
A pair of Skull Candy limited edition Screaming Hand Skull Crashers each and a pair of Electric goggles each.

Even if you don’t win, there will be a bunch of other prizes up for grabs, awarded to those putting in the most effort, stacking it in spectacular style, or pulling off top tricks. Every competitor will also receive a Santa Cruz goodie bag packed with goodies.

Jay Stephenson will be there to holler and guide you through the course as well as Santa Cruz’s very own Jo Howard and Brits winner and Olympic rider Kate Foster will be busting out tricks to get you pumping and then joining our esteemed judging panel from Whitelines Snowboard Magazine and Cooler.
