Following the success of the previous competitions, the organisers of Girl Skate Jam UK are proud to announce the date of Girl Skate Jam UK 09.

The all female skate jam and competition will take place at the Pioneer Skatepark, St Albans on Saturday 20 June 2009 from 1– 6pm.

Girl Skate Jam UK is the only female dedicated skateboarding event to take place in the UK. Last year’s event was attended by girl skaters from all over the UK and this year is already attracting interest from riders based in France and Spain.

There will be competitions for under 18s, over 18s, one for sponsored girls, a miniramp competition for all ages and a best trick competition. Prizes will include skateboards, clothing, bags, hardwear, shoes and assorted accessories. The winners of each category will also get one of the renound GSJ skater trophy.

Entry is £5 for skaters and £2 for spectators.
