After much developing in her studio, Miya Ando is debuting a new series of steel canvases titled “Luminous Transcendent”. These brand new works utilize a phosphorescent pigment that radiates a quiet, ghostly hue of blue in the dark. For a peek at this new use of glowing color SNEAK A PREVIEW ,,, or WATCH A MOVIE… of a new canvas in light and in dark.
Also debuting this exhibit will be a brand new series of monotypes titled, “shizuka [meditation 1-31]”. Made with liquid graphite on 100% cotton, these one of a kind prints are 30″ x 18″. Read Artist Statement on this Exhibit
