We can now announce that the two girls hand picked and heading to Iceland this weekend for the Nikita flagship store opening and GusGus album release launch are….Kelsey Rumball from Ontario, Canada AND Melanie Merkli from Tegerfelden in Switzerland!!
Kelsey impressed the party pickers with some carefully crafted words which she also filmed and put up on Youtube.
Melanie took a more direct approach with two versions of why she wanted to come – the first we can’t repeat for the sheer excess of profanities used (we giggled) but ultimately she’s been working early shifts for six months and just so happens to have this weekend off – what better way to enjoy it than a weekend break to Reykjavik with the Nikita crew!
You don’t have to miss out on the action either as Nikita will be streaming the night live, you will be able to see and hear all that goes on, the only sense you may lack is smell, but if you bring yourself a crate of beer and some salty liquorice, you’ll be right there, honest! The stream will be fed live from 21:00 to 00:00, Iceland time.
