Firstly, I’d like to say thanks to Cooler for choosing me as a winner for the Face of Cooler year. I hope to learn more from Cooler and its readers on exciting tips on places to go, sporting events to watch and hope to keep you informed and entertained by my updates on my sporting lifestyle. A quick summary on my interests and passions. I love trying anything new and I am a bit of an adhrenhalin junkie. I love skiing, boarding, kite surfing, land kite boarding, cycling, surfing, rock climbing, tennis, golf, football and any team sports. This year my plans are to go skiing in Colorado, kite surfing in whitstable, land kite boarding on black heath, cycling along the many canal routes in London and in Epping forest, indoor rock climbing in mile end climbing wall plus some outdoor climbing when it gets warmer, surf trips to wales and newquey and so on.
My new year was excellent. I spent a week in Chatel, france in a chalet with 14 mates. The snow was iniitally dissapointing, however, new years day we had 2 feets of snow and after shaking off the hangover, we hit the slopes hard. Chatel is quiet a small resort, but there were plenty of neighbouring resorts close by with access to Swizterland we were never bored with the choice of routes. The slopes weren’t that challenging, so I would suggest this place to a begginer / intermediate skier and an intermediate boarder. However it was a beautiful place and a good place for me to warm up for my next trip… I am off to Colorado in a few days to go ski winter park with some of my american mates who are fantastic skiers, off piste, tree skiing and boarding. I hear the conditions are perfect, so I am pumped for the trip…I will report back when I get back in April, and hopefully I will be in one piece…
Thanks for reading… bye for now… Kerry x
