Ferndale Skate Park needs your votes now!

Ferndale Skate Park in South Wales is the only skate project in the final round of The National Lottery Awards 2009 and they now need your support to win the Best Sports Project category.

They must beat two other projects to win. The National Lottery Awards is an annual search to find the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded projects. Lottery players help raise £25 million a week for Good Causes and the Awards recognise the difference that Lottery-funded projects – both big and small – make to local communities, and celebrates the achievements of the people behind the Good Causes.

Ferndale Skate Park now need you to vote to help them win. Anyone can vote by calling 0844 686 1694 or by simply going to lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/awards. Voting ends at midday on Friday 14 August.

The winning projects in each category will receive national recognition on a special star-studded BBC1 programme, The National Lottery: Big 7, transmitted live on Saturday 5 September, and a £2,000 cash prize to spend on their project.
