After 3 weeks in New Caledonia, the final of the PKRA 2009 World Tour started. The wind was pumping and the Single eliminations kicked off straight away. My first heat I picked the wrong kite size and was underpowered so lost the heat.

So I chilled, helped the others and waited for the Doubles eliminations. The wind kept going so we started the Doubles the same afternoon. I won my first heat and was then up against Angela Peral the following day. I won that and the next couple, so went on for a heat against Karolina Winkowska for 3rd/4th place. I did my best in that and landed a couple of things I was happy with so was stoked to finish in 4th place behind Bruna Kajiya (1st), Karolina Winkowska (2nd) and Gisela Pulido (3rd). I am so happy with this result and it means that I finish in 5th place overall for 2009!! This was the goal I set myself at the beginning of the year. Wahoo!!

We did some Best trick comps after, which I got 3rd in and Kite loop comps, which I nearly killed myself in!!

Now back home and off to the Snowkite Masters in Serre Chevalier followed by the 2S Echo 2010 Wind Festival in La Rosiere.
