Freestyle have announced the launch of the ‘Freestyle $100,000 Challenge’ on their all-new website. Visitors will have the opportunity to submit photos and video footage for monthly prizes and a chance to win the grand prize of $100,000.
“Today nearly everybody has the equipment and skills to bust out a pretty cool photo or video,” said Chad Labass, Freestyle sports marketing manager. “We developed this contest to give the best aspiring photographers and videographers a chance to rise to the top, win some loot and take their dreams to the next level.”
Each month two winners will be chosen, based on the most online views. One winner will be chosen in the photo category and one in the video category, and receive his or her choice of a Freestyle watch and accessory worth up to $175. The top two winners in each category, for the length of the contest, will then win an all expenses paid trip for two to San Diego, California, from September 7-9, 2007, to attend the Action Sports Retailer (ASR) tradeshow for a chance to roll the dice for the $100,000 grand prize.
The contest has now officially launched, in conjunction with the re-launch of the Freestyle website, and concludes on July 31, 2007.
