The French Freestyle Skiing Championships will be hitting La Plagne from the 20-22nd and the 29-30th March, and with the ever-increasing popularity of freestyle ski, this years contest looks set to be fiercer than ever.
This year the championships will include the some seriously big airs in the freestyle half pipe contest; skiercross where skiers will battle it out in natural terrain and tackle man-made jumps; and moguls, where skiers will showcase their turning and jumping skills.
The programme is as follows:
• 20th March – skiercross
• 22nd March – moguls
• 29th March – half pipe
• 30th March – slopestyle
All the freestyle clubs from large ski resorts such as Tignes, La Clusaz, Les 2 Alpes and Chamrousse will be presenting their best athletes.
