Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam shaking up Women’s TTR Top 3

After the official kick off of the Northern Hemisphere snowboard season last weekend in Modena, Italy, this week riders are gathering on the Dachstein Glacier in Austria for the 4Star Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam and with 500 TTR ranking points to win, we will see some thrilling changes in the Swatch TTR world ranking list.

This time there is a special focus on the TTR women, as young Czech rider, Sarka Pancochova, who took the event title last year, could with a top placement take the tour lead from current World No.1 and 07/08 Swatch TTR World Champion, Jamie Anderson (USA). Sarka sprung on to the international competition scene only a few years ago and has been slowly rising the ranks, ending the 08/09 season in the Swatch TTR World No 8. Known for her huge airs and having no fear to hit the biggest of kickers with impressive style, Sarka qualified in the lead at many top events last winter, showing her skills also in the halfpipe. Another world-class rider on the line up is one of snowboarding’s most well known and progressive female riders, 05/06 TTR World Champion Cheryl Maas (NED) who could with a good result jump up into TTR World No.3, a great position to be in if she wants to make a move for the coveted top spot.

This snowboard event has got killer line up, a perfectly shaped slopestyle course and as always a great early season party atmosphere. Stay tuned to ttrworldtour.com for event news, blogs and videos and join our twitter feed for real time updates as the events unfold.
