Our credit cards are positively twitching with excitment at the news that a new howies store has just opened in Bristol.
Following on from the launch of their super-successful Carnaby Street store in October 2007, Bristol is the latest addition to the howies empire! The store is huge, giving those creative folks plenty of space for fantastic, fun displays and more room to tell the howies story.
Russell Ashdown, a design specialist engaged in the low impact evolution of buildings, was the interior designer of the Bristol store.
The concept of the store is like the howies catalogues: to make people think as well as buy; to remember quality in a world obsessed about quantity; and to consider the planet in everything they make.
howies have great plans for using the store to make people think, through art installations, shop windows, staircase gallery, brain food books, and the denim room (pictured right) where they will be holding lectures and discussions each month.
If Bristol is not too handy, fret not, as you can buy everything you need at howies.co.uk.
