German Roxy team rider Aline Bock (26) was just crowned vice world champion of the Freeride World Tour behind Susan Mol (USA) last weekend.
Although Aline used to be a freestyler and has only started competing in freeride events last year, her impressive and consistent riding earned her the second place in the worldwide ranking. The overall ranking is made up from the best results throughout the competition series and the freeride qualifying events. With her title in Sochi, a second place in Squaw Valley and a third place in Chamonix her second place is well diserved.
She’s really happy about her recent achievement: “Winning second place in the overall ranking is a fantastic result for me, because freeriding is new terrain for me. Next season I want to build on that success and advance my riding further!”
