Roxy and Quiksilver are to sponsor the Gorm Freestyle Parks at the Cairngorm Mountain for the next three years, installing a new range of jumps, rails and features for the riding pleasure of the local Scottish shredders. After last year’s awesome winter and April’s fresh snowfall, the resort has seen a massive upsurge in  freestyle riders and skiers visiting.

As Cairngorm ski patroller (and frequent Cooler photo contributor!) Euan Baxter says, “CairnGorm’s freestyle facilities are already regarded as among the best in Scotland with the focus of the parks being aimed at snowboarding and freeriding features suitable for a range of abilities from novice to expert. CairnGorm Mountain wish to continue to build on the reputation gained as a place to snowboard or freeski as well as a great location to host freestyle events and this partnership with Quiksilver and Roxy will help to raise the profile of the sport at CairnGorm with the relevant audiences.”

Over 120 girls came down to the Roxy Shred Day for coaching earlier this winter and Roxy and Quiksilver are planning heaps more events in the future.
