Carissa Moore Crowned Champ at RIP CURL WOMEN’S PRO BELLS BEACH (again)

Yesterday at Bells Beach Carissa Moore didn’t let anyone get in her ‘wave’ as she took the title for a second year running. Moore had previously beaten ASP World Champ Sally Fitzgibbons in the semi’s by just half a point. It was an amazingly close comp as they matched each other wave after wave, but Moore inched ahead to the finals. On the other side of the draw it was Tyler Wright vs Steph Gilmore. The 5 time ASP World Champ fell short of Tyler who notched up a nifty 9 on one wave!

With Carissa vs Tyler in the finals for the second year running, it was another exciting match to watch. Although close, Moore’s form was unstoppable and she walked off the sand with the Bells Beach title.
