From: Canazei, Italy
How’s your summer been?
I spent my summer in Australia. I travelled the whole of the East Australian coast, checking out koalas, kangaroos and bush turkeys.
Where have you been shredding?
I’ve been in Italy, Switzerland, USA, Norway, Austria…
How was filming the Roxy podcasts?
Funny. The more interesting things actually went on within the Roxy house…
How were the rest of the riders and crew?
Nice, we had a really good crew.
Were there any embarrassing incidents during filming?
Yes… but these things happen.
What’s the best trick you’ve nailed this season?
My best trick was fs 7 on the 18m jump of Hemsendal at the end of last winter season.
What’s your ideal summer shredding destination?
I love staying in Livigno if there is a good snow. Otherwise, I like Parck City, Mammoth and Hemsedal.
How do you keep in shape when you’re off the slopes?
I have no gym program, I think the best way is to do other sports. I love walking in the mountains near my house, the Dolomites, and I want to start to climb them too.
Every day I practice yoga in the morning and in the afternoon too.
Have you had any time to chill out and relax?
Yes, but not too much!
Where will you be heading this winter?
I don’t know, it is unlucky to say too early… as then things happen.
What kit will you be taking on the slopes?
My backpack with special wax, some fruit, water, money, camera, helmet, some lenses for my goggles and my iPod so I can chill out to music whenever I need to.
What are you most looking forward to about the coming season?
I hope for a lot of snow… good jumps and good half-pipes. I will do some World Cup contests and some TTR competitions too.
