THE RIDE…
LCC have carefully chosen a picturesque route through the London’s Battersea Park, Brompton Cemetery and London’s quieter streets to the Cycle Show 2009 at Earls Court. This ride will be a celebration of female cyclists everywhere encouraging new cyclists and offering support and advice to the more experienced.
Riders will be encouraged to decorate their bikes and our colourful parade of cyclists will ride through all the rich autumn colours of some of London’s beautiful green spaces. The ride will finish at approximately 11.30-12 at Earls Court where we have managed to secure our riders discounted tickets to the Cycle Show! (Just £10) Our marshals will get in free.
CYCLE SHOW SPECIAL EVENTS FOR WOMEN…
This year, the Cycle Show is increasing entertainment for women by putting on fashion shows, providing women-specific advice on nutrition, hair and make-up, route-planning, and information on leisure holidays for women.
There will also be a session panel of female cycling experts (including the Cooler team!) on the Cyclodelic stand, offering advice on choosing the right bike, customising your bike with female-specific accessories, and advising how to get the best bargains.
