Sambora Beach Toes Starfish

Price: £9.99

I'd never heard of Sambora Beach Toes until last month. The Australia brand make nail varnish specifically for women who spend a lot of time in the sea (like us).

It's UV stabilised so the colour lasts longer, it's toxin free and chip-resistant - which is an issue for surfers.

We've put it to the test - and while it's not totally chip-free, it definitely stays on longer than normal nail varnishes. If you're wearing booties, then it'll remain totally intact.

P20 Sun Protection is a really well known sunscreen brand - for good reason.

It's rated as highly water resistant which is ace if you're in and out of the sea all day. SPF ratings range from 15 up to 50, so you can choose the right one to suit your skin.

It comes out as a non-greasy clear liquid rather than a smeary white cream - and definitely did a good job at keeping our faces from burning.
